SNUB

SNUB (also known as SNUB23) is an Essex-born street artist who has been based in Brighton since the late 1990s. Working with stencils and freehand spray paint, he is best known for Mongrel, a protective robot inspired by the 2000 AD and ABC Warriors comics of his childhood, which he has painted on walls around the world.

The name is about ignoring the rules of billboards and branding. As well as his own work he co-organises the Paint & Beer street-art festival in Amsterdam. The pieces here are held at Amen Brother's Richmond Place gallery on the artist's behalf.
