Mau Mau

Mau Mau began painting in Devon, making anti-"Babylon" statements on walls on his own rather than as part of a crew, before moving to a London studio and painting the streets with others. His work — foxes, pigs, monkeys and mermaids loaded with political bite — now appears on walls, boats and barns across the UK, the US, Jamaica, Thailand and Australia.

He has made artwork for labels including Ninja Tune and Lowlife, and animated videos for The Herbaliser, Dizzee Rascal and Skitz. He works closely with fellow Devon artist Beejoir, and many of his prints were published by Souled Out Studios.
