Goldie

Goldie (Clifford Price) was one of the UK's leading graffiti writers in the 1980s — his work appears in Henry Chalfant and James Prigoff's book Spraycan Art and the film Bombing — before he became a defining figure in jungle and drum & bass. He co-founded the Metalheadz label, and his 1995 album Timeless is a landmark of British dance music.

He returned to the gallery with the 2007 London show Love Over Gold and has exhibited internationally since. His paintings and editions carry the same energy as his early wall pieces: freehand spray, metallic finishes and bold, bright colour.
