Fin DAC
Fin DAC is a Cork-born, London-based artist who left a career in digital design to paint full time. He calls his style "urban aesthetics": the stencil techniques of street art applied to the poise and detail of traditional portraiture. The name comes from his old online portfolio, Dragon Armoury Creative.
His murals and canvases, often of masked women in rich colour, have been painted in cities around the world. He cites influences as varied as dark graphic novels, Francis Bacon and Aubrey Beardsley, and has worked on projects for the Royal Albert Hall and the London 2012 Olympics.
